A Time For, TRANQUILLITY We are elated to release our first fragrance of the range - Tranquillity. How often in our daily routines do we search for tranquillity, times of peace or moments of escapism? It isn’t easy in this modern world of smart phones constantly nagging for our attention and with constant access into people’s lives, even across the world and those we haven’t met, we can often find ourselves in states of comparison which affects our mental health more than we may realise. The intention with this candle is to not only enjoy the health benefits of the natural soy wax, 100% natural essential oils paired with organic, eco-friendly and sustainable wood wicks but to tap into our ARAS part of our brains using the NLP and take control before anxiety, worry or damaging habits take control and to live a more tranquil, daily existence. Previously, scientists thought that the brains structure was hardwired and immutable. The widely-held belief was that the brain was a machine and that machines not being capable of growing or changing. New research has taught us that the brain can change based on experiences. Even in old age, the adult brain retains neuroplasticity and can change structure and function. The foundation for this new range of essential oil candles is based on the ARAS (Ascending reticular activating system) – The back part of the human brain that is in control of promoting consciousness (as opposed to the front part where the Amygdala is located).
