And maybe something you can put on a desk, that looks and acts like a vintage clock, but a bit modern (quartz)? Well here is exactly that! Now I am prototyping it, and taking pre-orders! The dial is the Lumed Cold Enamel Dial with Roman Numeral, which is actually designed originally for this project. Specs! - The front of the watch - Crystal: Scratch resistant Sapphire Crystal. - Hands: 3 hands (because it would be very annoying if a quartz watch didn't have a second hand). Glossy black. - Dial: Lumed Cold Enamel Dial with Roman Numeral (BGW9) - The Case of the watch - Case Material: Silver: 316 Stainless Steel with AF Coating* - Case Material: Gold: 316 Stainless Steel with 24k Gold plating with AF Coating* - Side-to-Side: 33 mm - Top-to-Bottom: 37.5 mm - Thickness: 7.5 mm - Water Resistance: 5 ATM - Weight: 32 g (without chain) - Chain Length: 75 cm + 5 cm adjustment (silver: stainless steel, gold: stainless steel with 18k coating) - Inside of the watch - Movement: Ronda 763 - Accuracy: -10 to +20 sec per month - Battery Life: 40 Months (battery type 364) - Magnetic Resistance: 18.8 Oe - Shock Resistance: NIHS 91-10 *This case back is of a prototype, and so some text might change in the production unit.- The back of the watch - Case Back is mirror finish. Actually, I think the case back on the prototype lacks something and I'm thinking of putting a round engraving on the back of the clock like below for the production unit. The reason there is nothing on the center of the case back is so you can use it as a mirror (although this is not as reflective as a real mirror)! *AF coating: We decided to place another layer of coating on top of the electroplating. Which is called AF, Anti-Fingerprint coating. It is a durable coating and it will make the electroplating color last long, and also it will repel water and oil to be attached on the surface, and it will be much easier to wipe these away than without the coating. Of course even with the AF coating, there will be a day that the gold plating disappear. But with this extra coating, this clock's beauty last even longer. <3
