A very solid iron window for many purposes. For a wall breakthrough with light opening, for the garage or as an iron window for the bathroom or the terrace wall. The fantastically pretty glass, which allows the light to pass through perfectly, but no unwanted looks, gives the window a convincing antique effect. This cast iron window has a very special shape and is based on an original historical window. The window is untreated, so it has a rust patina on the surface - if you don't like it, you can use the iron window after brushing it off lightly, you can also paint it in a desired color with commercially available paint or spray it with clear lacquer. We send these windows in the raw state. A package with ready-cut frosted glass (4 mm glass panes) for self-glazing is included. These are 7 panes of glass of different sizes (4 mm glass thickness), which are cut to fit the window perfectly. The glazing is very simple: There is enough space on the back to install the glass. The glass panes can be used as in historical times, using linseed oil putty - or very easily and quickly: with silicone. (We would be happy to offer you a finished glazing, but this is not possible due to the transport risk.) Please note that our glass panes have to be made individually for each window, which is why the delivery time may be longer. Since window glass is an individual custom-made product, it cannot be exchanged.
