A stylishly reproduced Art Nouveau brass knob. The antique patina supports the wonderfully historical appearance of this massive knob. This door knob with floral patterns looks very attractive and classy and suits both historic and new doors. It feels very supple and has a beautiful rosette, which also shows the typical Art Nouveau lilies. The doorknob is made to turn (see photos). Usages: 1.) Knob with handle: If you want to use this on one side with a door handle and on the other side as a rotary knob, use a square pin (thorn). 2.) Knob on both sides: You can use this knob on both sides and the door can be opened using the respective knob Note on installing the door fitting on a front door: Most historic front doors had a backset of 10 x 10 mm. For this reason, please measure the existing mandrel or lock nut in advance! In our shop we offer a sleeve which can reinforce the standard 8x8mm mandrel that fits all newer doors to 10mm to keep the latch from wobbling. It is simply clipped on, so you have no problem installing it on old doors.
