The boxes/cases that we offer you here, more commonly called "Nunô Kôgo" are small silk boxes designed by hand by Japanese artisans from Kyoto. Originally used to store tea or spices (and continue to be able to smell the scents after they are gone), they are now used as jewelry boxes! Holding a nunô kôgo is like having a piece of Japan in your home. The boxes are a treasure in addition to the one it contains! The boxes come in 2 shape variations: square or hexagonal and in a multitude of colors! Due to their rarity and limited number, we offer them in sets of 2 pieces in different colors depending on availability.
