The tenugui is a Japanese cotton towel that is very pleasant to the touch. It allows you to wipe your hands, mop your forehead, as a headband or simply as a decoration. Ours are adorned with famous prints by the Japanese artist Utagawa Kuniyoshi, the great master of the 19th century woodblock print, along with Katsuchika Hokusai, best known for his wave and his Mount Fuji. His works are steeped in Japanese folklore: tales, legends and myths come together to form frightening, intriguing or very humorous frescoes! Moreover, all the humor and the unusual side of the artist stand out on this reproduction: a family out for a walk, on a boat, dancing during a festival...a real parade of familiar scenes...but with Red fishes (!) It is an unusual, functional and very original gift for any lover of Japanese culture or unusual fashion!
