We have begun to diversify our essential oils with organic citrus fruits rigorously analyzed to guarantee the absence of pesticides, an essential element for these fruits whose essential oil is contained directly in the zest, exposed to pollutants. My connection with organic citrus goes back almost 40 years, when I worked in Sicily, near Mount Etna, helping to establish the first organic citrus crops and organic essential oils. It was a memorable time, interspersed with wonderful human and gastronomic encounters: the smell of Stretto coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice, pasta with anchovies and grilled fish shared with friends. Even though this organic sweet orange essential oil does not come directly from our farm, I feel a special attachment to this product.
