Organic Palmarosa Essential Oil (Cymbopogon martinii) is a precious essence rich in geraniol, a compound with delicate floral notes close to rose. During our first attempts at cultivation, our seeds imported from India underwent gamma ray debacterization, which rendered them sterile. After careful research, we managed to obtain natural and untreated seeds, finally allowing us to cultivate and distill an organic Palmarosa of exceptional quality. We wanted to produce an organic Palmarosa in particular to extract organic geraniol, known for its biocidal effect against mosquitoes. The paradox is that pure geraniol is recognized as a biocide, but a Palmarosa essential oil naturally containing 80% geraniol cannot be officially declared as such due to current regulations! Our Organic Palmarosa Essential Oil contains 75% geraniol, guaranteeing a pure, rosy, floral scent, without the extraneous notes often present in Indian Palmarosa oils. Its clean and balanced aroma makes it an exceptional essence, as pleasant as it is effective.
