Twin Flames - Hand Dipped Beeswax Candles

The Flammes Jumelles are made up of two pure beeswax candles and an unbleached cotton wick and are dipped by hand in the Vosges. They are sealed in wax, entwined together, and burn with two distinct flames. Making dipped wax candles is a traditional craft technique that dates back to antiquity. The cotton wick is dipped successively in a bath of hot wax until it reaches the desired diameter, which can be up to fifty baths for a standard-sized candle. The beeswax I use comes from France. It is totally pure, without additives, coloring or perfume, which makes it safe for children, pregnant or breastfeeding women.
