 Ayda's premium organic prickly pear seed oil is rich in active ingredients, making it a natural anti-aging agent that nourishes, hydrates, heals and firms your skin: - Linoleic acid (Omega 6): 61.60% - Oleic acid (Omega 9): 21.00% - Tocopherols (vitamin E): 100mg/100g - Sterols: 1000mg/100g - Peroxide Index: 1 meq/O2/kg Prickly pear oil for the face is also renowned for its regenerating properties thanks to the omega 6 it contains which boosts skin repair.

 HOW IS OUR PICKLY PEAR OIL MADE?   Ayda pure Prickly Pear oil is obtained by pressing the seeds extracted from Prickly Pears.

 Ayda 100% natural Prickly Pear Seed oil is obtained by cold pressing through a codified process. 

In fact, in the first phase, you must harvest the Opuntia Ficus Indica figs by hand while checking that they are sufficiently ripe. 

In Morocco, this harvest period is between the months of July and September.

 The figs are then peeled and then washed to finally pulp them and collect exclusively the precious Prickly Pear seeds. 

The pulp collected separately from the Seeds can be used to make products such as Prickly Pear Jam.

 The seeds are then washed again and then dried to reduce the humidity level. 

This step is essential and must be carried out carefully in order to dry the Prickly Pear seeds sufficiently, but not too much. 

Overdried seeds will produce little Prickly Pear Seed oil or will be unusable.

 The dried seeds of Opuntia Ficus Indica are then pressed to extract the precious prickly pear seed oil.

 At the same time, we carry out additional tests and analyzes in the laboratory, aiming to perfect our selection process. 

With our Partner Laboratory, we guarantee quality products, ECOCERT certified and COSMEBIO labeled.

 It is in a climate and land favorable to Prickly Pears that the women of our partner Cooperative ensure the harvesting, peeling, pulping and then extraction of the precious pure and ORGANIC Ayda Prickly Pear Seed oil.

 With more than 10 years of experience, our partner Women's Cooperative has improved and optimized its production methods to extract a Prickly Pear Seed oil produced without chemical additives.

 HOW TO USE PICKLY PEAR OIL ON THE SKIN?   You can use pure prickly pear oil for your facial care, eye contour care, neck and décolleté care, eczema, psoriasis, and many other treatments for your well-being :) For optimal care, apply 1 to 2 sprays in the palm of your hand to perform a gentle massage on the area to nourish and moisturize.

 To be used preferably in the evening before going to bed because this is when the skin, hair and nails regenerate best (absence of pollution, sun, cold, stress).

 HOW TO USE PICKLY PEAR SEED OIL ON HAIR?   On the hair, you can apply prickly pear oil in an oil bath and leave for an hour or overnight. 

Then simply rinse with a mild shampoo. 

Renew the oil bath once a week for maximum shine.

 On nails, massage a drop of prickly pear oil into cuticles and nails to strengthen them.
