Deprived of fire after an enemy attack, the Oulhamr tribe is in great danger. Naoh, accompanied by Gaw and Nam, sets out on a long journey to find this lost flame. HAS Across the savannah and forests, they brave hunger, thirst, and wild beasts. Pursued by an enemy horde, they find refuge with a herd of mammoths. They resume their quest, exhausted, and one day, in the morning mist, a silhouette stands out against the horizon. A woman, a spear in her hand, watches them silently. Will this meeting bring them a glimmer of hope? An adaptation of the famous novel by Rosny aîné, rewritten so that younger generations can rediscover this major work set in prehistory and recounting this quest showing the beginnings of humanity.
