Washcloths do not have as strong an odor as pods, for example.   One strip is approximately 4 grams, a pod easily 25 grams.   Due to more chemicals and a heavier product it is not possible to leave as much scent as a pod.   In addition, scent works slightly differently with a wax strip.   Immediately after washing you will hardly notice the smell.   Friction, such as walking and running, will break the micro-fragrance capsules and create a slightly subtle scent.   Do you want a scent boost for up to 3 months?   Then combine with the environmentally friendly fragrance booster from Cosmeau.   Is there fabric softener in the washing strip?
