Sumba figurine

These beautiful Sumbanese totem figurines are traditionally carved from stone by the villagers of the Indonesian island of Sumba. Each figurine is unique in its shape and specially selected for BAMBU LIVING. Originally, these totem figurines were placed in or around the entrance of a Sumbanese hut or Kampung to protect and heal the inhabitants from evil.
