Screen 13 Trencadís

Lampshade from our Trencadis collection to be used with a glass and a candle. This Catalan term designates a mosaic made of pieces of ceramic tiles –usually abstract in design– characteristic of modernist architecture and in particular of the work of Gaudí. In the illustration, one of the most emblematic modernist spaces in Barcelona has been used: Park Güell. As a detail, in the original trencadís, the number 13 appears inverted.
