COMIC BOOK - CHILDREN'S BOOK - PETIOTE CASBAH

In 1955, as the Algerian war for independence began, Khadidja left her village to join her brother Malek in Algiers. But very quickly, the latter was arrested after an altercation with police officers at the market. Lyes, a resourceful street child, witnesses the scene and takes the little girl in. From their cabin on the rooftops of the Casbah, she becomes friends with him as well as with Ahmed and Philippe. Together, the children will do everything they can to help Khadidja.
