Long before the Romans took over Gaul, the Druids had built their temple on the Île de la Cité. Two thousand years later, in the same place, Notre-Dame de Paris burned before the horrified eyes of the entire world. Two millennia during which this place has remained sacred, through religions and the trials of history. The Celtic temple will become a Roman fanum, then a basilica, a cathedral... At the center of these events, a family remains mysteriously linked to the fate of the building. Generations follow one another, resisting the Romans as well as the Vikings, attending wars as well as coronations, participating in developments and revolutions. The adventure of Notre-Dame offers us a real novel. HAS Through it, we discover both the lives of the men and women who came before us and the history of a city that became the capital.
