De Stijl A-to-Z Typography Poster

A genuine typographic alphabet fully designed by then 18yo American artist James Thompson in rendition to the XXth-century style and movement known as De Stijl. Meaning "The Style" in Dutch, this artistic movement - which englobed artists such as Theo van Doesburg, Piet Mondrian, J. J. P. Oud and Gerrit Rietveld, in between others - sought the integration of all arts into each of their creations, searching for a uniformity in all areas of expression from design to painting and architecture. It is also known as Neoplasticism. It can easily remind you of Marcel Breuer's Cesca or Wassilly chairs' silhouette. There is definitely some interest in here for Bauhaus lovers as well. Each character is letterpressed. Slight setoff gives the poster a higher quality finish. Printed in a cylinder press Korrex Berlin, in Barcelona, on Materica Gresso 360g paper. Poster comes rolled on a custom made packaging. More information at: https://www.beamalevich.com/products/poster-de-stijl/
