Rum Alma Norte Gold

Our Pure Rum is carefully double distilled in Bremen from sugar cane molasses from Guatemala. It is unsweetened and unflavored – an unadulterated distillate that derives its character solely from barrel aging. ­ It was first aged in a barrique barrel with our single malt whisky VAN LOON, where it absorbed fine notes of malt, vanilla and oak. Since November 2024, it has continued to mature in a selected Madeira barrel, where it develops its elegant, winey fruitiness. ­ The result: a rum with a clear, honest structure, aromas of dried fruit, caramel, and nuts, as well as a soft, round mouthfeel and a long, warming finish.
