Season 1 was promising: a natural Marseille soap with a delicious musky smell. Season 2 captivated us with the appearance of the donkey. A terribly sweet and endearing character who hasn't stopped foaming throughout the season without ever suffocating our little chevrotain. Suffice to say that we can't wait to test this third soap: the donkey is again present and continues to accompany our favorite chevrotain on her adventures, but this time, she is labeled Organic! THE BENEFITS OF ORGANIC DONKEY MILK AND MUSK A star of perfumery for… a really long time, musk was originally a very fragrant animal raw material. It is produced by the chevrotain (a funny animal living in Asia) during the mating season. The animal, not being an easy beast, has long been hunted and killed. It was the only way in the 19th century to obtain musk… Since then, the world of perfumery has evolved and now only uses synthetic musk to protect this sweet chevrotain from certain death. But why such an attraction for musk? Originally, this substance smelled so strongly that it was almost unpleasant. But once refined, an irresistible and sensual smell is released. This animal note is used as a base note in many perfumes because it fixes and enhances the essences. Still little known, donkey milk has it all!
