Vintage Hanten - Hikeshi

Hikeshi means "Fire Fighting Organization and Its Members" in the Edo period (1603-1868). The fires in the city of Edo (present-day Tokyo) were so frequent that the city was characterized by the saying "Fires and quarrels are the flower of Edo". This vintage Japanese jacket with very thick fabric is similar to a judo kimono. Materials and colors are sensitive, we recommend dry cleaning.
