Reserve red wine D.O.Ca. Rioja Altos del Rubio

This wine takes its name from the "Rubio Alto" estate where our winery is located. This wine is only made in those years in which the grapes have the appropriate characteristics for long aging and maximum expression that lasts over time. Limited edition Varieties selected from the best bunches of Tempranillo, Graciano and Garnacha grapes. Aging: for 24 months in French oak barrels. Regular racking every five months. Subsequently bottled to rest in the bottle for a year. Tasting notes: ruby red color, with intense and complex aromas from its barrel aging. With notes of cocoa, spices and ripe black fruit. On the palate it is long, intense, with a persistent finish and a very complex nose in which the reduction bouquet in the bottle is noticeable. Consumption temperature: between 16°C and 18°C. Pairing: ideal for roasted or grilled red meats, strongly cured cheeses and acorn-fed ham, among others.
