The Ribera del Duero Designation of Origin has confirmed the high quality of the grapes harvested in the 2023 harvest, an exceptional campaign marked by two distinct phases and changing climatic conditions. 116.7 million kilos of grapes were harvested, 12% more than the previous year, with 100% Tempranillo grapes. The rosés of this vintage stand out for their aromatic intensity and freshness, thanks to a lower alcohol content that enhances their fruity expression. This rosé is made using the traditional bleeding method, with hand-selected red grapes harvested at night in the coolest part of our vineyard in Castrillo de Duero. After a careful selection, it is destemmed and pressed in an inert atmosphere at low temperature, with controlled fermentation at 13°C. The result: an elegant and sensual rosé, pale and bright pink. On the nose it is delicate and suggestive, with notes of strawberry, ripe fruit and red berries. In the mouth, it shows volume, freshness and a long, sweet finish. Ideal to accompany creamy rice dishes, seafood, fish and Asian cuisine.
