Tamaral Crianza 2020 wins Grand Gold at Canada's prestigious Sélections Mondiales des Vins competition. From our vineyards in Castrillo de Duero, planted on south-facing slopes and low-yielding clay-loam soils, this wine expresses the full character of its surroundings. The harvest is carried out manually, and fermentation, along with maceration, takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 26°C, ensuring precise and respectful extraction. After production, the wine ages for 14 months in French and American oak barrels, where it acquires structure and complexity. Visually, it has an intense cherry red color with a high layer. On the nose, it is deep and complex, with notes of red and black fruits, licorice, and delicate roasted and sweet touches from the aging process. On the palate it is smooth and powerful, with ripe, round tannins, good structure and a long, elegant finish. The balance between fruit, wood and freshness makes it a wine with great personality. Perfect to accompany roasted or grilled meats, seasonal vegetables and legume dishes.
