We chose this carpet for its composition, its very particular look, but above all for its manufacture: it was made in the heart of a cooperative of Berber women in Morocco. We met Touria, the president of the cooperative and all the Berber women who weave wonderful rugs like this. It is an eco-responsible artisanal achievement designed from scratch by Berber women from Morocco, who have specialized in this work for generations. To make the rugs they use eco-wool, a wonderful natural textile fiber that is insulating, breathable and recyclable. It takes a little over a month to make this rug. Through it, you offer a story, that of a real ancestral know-how transmitted from generation to generation. As this is a pure wool rug, your rug could lose its hair for about 15 days. This is completely normal, it is woolen threads stuck during weaving. Regular maintenance with a brush broom to remove dirt, do not hesitate to shake it regularly to remove dust.
