Hi, I’m Greta and you’re welcome to my little shop BohoVaikai. The story of this shop begins in September 2016, when my little daughter Sophia Alexandra turned 1 year old. Like all mothers in the world this celebration was a huge event for me. Not only because of a party, but mostly for understanding that my little girl is no longer a baby and she becomes more and more independent everyday. I thought we should make a beautiful first birthday to mark these changes. The theme of the party was 'Alice in Wonderland' since for me it’s the most beautiful story of creativity, childhood and power of fantasy…
And so it began… I was absolutely sure that it will be more or less easy to plan this party, but as I started, I realised that everything I was looking for – from decorations to clothing was not enough for me… it was beautiful, but made with synthetic fabrics… it was natural, but also way too pricy for an item like that… it looked good on pictures, but in reality the quality was poor… finally I couldn’t find even onesie with a boho style 1st birthday print on it in my native Lithuanian language, so I had to do something. And I did… I made it all, from decorations to clothing, on my own.
After that, I was so passionate and hungry for creativity and new adventures, that every minute of my daughter’s sleep at day and night, was dedicated to learning how to use all the tools to create designs for other kids birthdays. It was hard, since I was a full-time mom then, but there were thrilling new horizons waiting for me and it is still.
Today BohoVaikai is a team of creative people, creating handmade clothing, decor and paintings for your little ones. We focus on creating bright and colourful, boho style birthday clothing, gifts, toys and decorations, using only natural, certified, kids-friendly fabrics.
All our products are handmade in Lithuania with lots of love, passion and beautiful thoughts for our little friends.
