Pinwheels Embroidered Pouf Multicoloured- by Bombay Duck

This pattern is called Pinwheels but in fact it resembles an entire herbaceous border of multicolored flowers in lime, emerald, two shades of hot pink, jade, turquoise, lilac, magenta and smoky blue-grey, which almost smother the heavy ivory ground on both the top and sides. I'm really proud of our Indian artisans for creating something so radiantly, colourfully joyous and technically so complicated as this nine-colour embroidery. The fun icing on this exuberant circular pouf is a fringe of pompoms in all nine colours for extra vavavoom.
