A white, light and fruity IPA This white beer, frank, giving off aromas of citrus fruits and hops while keeping sweetness and lightness reminds us of the story of our ancestor Camille. This refreshing beer will be perfect for your evenings on the terrace! Infused with sweet orange peel and bergaMotte ;). Camille CORDONNIER (1851-1926) – Daughter of the North, descendant of a long line of brewers, will take an active part alongside her husband Edmond MOTTE in the evolutions and challenges of the brewing world at the end of the 19th century. It is thanks to her that the brasserie de l'étoile became the Motte-Cordonnier brewery. Widowed at 44, she helps her son René (our blond beer) to take over the reins of the brewery. His life was strewn with challenges, Pasteurization, the arrival of glass bottles but also dramas such as the fire in 1890 of the brewery in the center of Armentières which will be rebuilt, then again destroyed during the 1st war. world – so many opportunities and hardships she overcomes. It is in homage to his determination and his courage but also to his legendary benevolence that we worked on our recipe and gave his name to our beer.
