Our colorful Kantha Kimonos are a must for your wardrobe! This versatile piece can be worn as a Kimono Dress, nice to combine with a cool pair of our Kilim Boots for example. You can wear the Kimono not only as a dress but also as a Kimono Coat. The Kimonos are also reversible, which means that they can be worn on both sides. So you actually score 2 dresses and jackets in one! The Kimonos are made of Indian Kantha fabrics. Kantha literally translates as "stitched fabric". A number of layers of saris are sewn together by hand with the so-called Kantha basting stitch. The result of this are the beautiful and sturdy Kantha fabrics with the most beautiful colors and hand-stamped block print patterns. These patchwork fabrics are recycled vintage Sarees, which makes all our Kantha Kimonos unique. NB! By recycling the vintage fabrics imperfections can arise, we only think this is beautiful, but keep that in mind. Our Kimonos are one-size and because it comes with a belt, it is approximately wearable up to size XL. The Kantha Kimono is about 90 cm long and has ¾ sleeves. All our Kimonos have two side pockets.
