Brent Berkeley - Stropping Belt Basic-Flex (Cowhide Leather)

The Basic Stropping Belt by Brent Berkeley® is made of high quality cowhide leather. It allows you to keep your open razor in mint-condition, just like at the barbershop. A Stropping belt or leather strop is an absolute must when regularly using a classic open razor. The razor strop consists of three parts. The smooth side of the leather, for polishing the cut. The rough, brushed side, for coarse work and 'straightening' the cut. The rough denim strip can also be used for this. For the best shaving performance, strop before and after each shave. By Honing or Polishing the blade, you'll retain a perfect straight edge, capable of handling even the roughest beards. Optionally, you may want to use a polishing paste on the rough side of the cowhide to enhance the sharpening / stropping / polishing process. At the end of the stropping belt there is a handy clip to attach it to a fixed object and two sturdy rings to keep the tension on it. This way, you can effortlessly hone, polish or ‘sharpen’ your razor. The leather stropping belt or strop is made to easily roll up so you can take it with you, for example in your toiletry bag.
