Design vase, the Switch vase – Adaptable porcelain collar

It allows you to dress common objects and create your own vase according to your objects. By changing the glass module you adapt the vase to the dimensions of the flowers. It is a special product within the Terre et Verre collection. It is an ultra-pure porcelain neck that transforms your everyday glass objects into unique designer vases. It fits on several containers such as a jar of jam or a bottle of wine to transform them and give them a second life. A concept that is both aesthetic, trendy and practical for an ultra designer result. Technique and material The Switch vase is made of porcelain and made by casting. The porcelain slip is poured into a plaster mold and after a few minutes of rest a thin “solid” layer is deposited along the wall of the mold. The excess liquid is poured back and you have to wait between 30 and 60 minutes to be able to unmold. Wait again until the piece has a leather consistency (solid but not dry) to be able to cut the bottom and top at an angle. Finish the cake and erase the traces of the plaster seams with a sponge. Don't forget the By Manet stamp imprint and let it dry gradually. Once dry, finely sand the walls before the first cooking.
