A fresh, citrus and floral single origin, pushed towards a pleasant and soft acidity The single-origin Ethiopian Sidamo is an Arabica quality gourmet coffee, grown at an altitude of about 1800m above sea level. The drupes, containing the grains, are harvested with the picking method, then manually, selecting only the ripe cherries at the right point. After which they are processed with the washed method, which gives greater acidity to the extracted drink. At the end of the process, the pulped grains are dried in the sun. Once extracted, intense aromas of citrus and flowers are perceived, together with a sweet note of white chocolate. The taste reveals different aromas from time to time: a marked acidity is immediately perceived, reminiscent of bergamot, after which sweeter notes of red fruits, apricot, milk chocolate and almond are perceived. Towards the end, a bouquet of flowers and tea leaves is felt, accompanied by fresh and pleasant spices. Bitterness is completely absent. The Ethiopian Sidamo is suitable for you if you are looking for a fresh, floral single origin, unbalanced in favor of acidity and sweetness, with total absence of bitterness and intensely aromatic. Moreover, thanks to the low caffeine content, it can also be consumed in the later hours of the afternoon or evening.
