Sakura Votive Candle

In Japan, the sakura flower is a promise of hope and renewal. The small, scented cherry blossoms bloom for only a few weeks, a reminder of life’s fleeting beauty. With original artwork created by Hisahiro Fukasawa, Japan. “I was influenced and inspired by gorgeous, graceful or elegant paintings of flowers and birds which were painted during the Japanese Muromachi era to Edo era,” says Fukasawa. “I add modern lightness into the drawings for sublimation.” Sakura votive candle is made from 100% beeswax and finished with a cotton wick. The transparent paper allows the golden glow of the beeswax to shine through the glass. The candle is presented in a plastic-free gift box. Burns for approximately 14 hours. Made by hand in Hong Kong.
