Do you know the Italian Easter dove? This is the Easter version of the famous Christmas panettone! The base of the impasto (the dough) is the same as that of the panettone (flour, eggs, sugar, yeast and butter) to which candied fruits and dried fruits are added, sometimes with more spring flavors. The cake is then molded in the shape of a dove 🕊️ This version is filled with the cream of "Pistacchio Verde di Bronte DOP" (green pistachio from Bronte DOP) from Sicily, coated in dark chocolate and topped with a crunchy granola of green pistachio from Bronte DOP. A delight!
