I am Nina the founder of Cat-Trotter, a brand of backpack to transport your cat that you can also use for yourself in your daily life. The concept is simple: with Cat-Trotter, your cat's backpack will never stay at the bottom of the closet again!
Our backpacks are designed and functional while ensuring the safety of your hairballs.
The backpack is currently available in 2 colors: Navy Blue and Mint Green. It is sold at the price of 129€ including tax. It is suitable for cats of 6 kilos.
Cat-Trotter is a French brand of backpacks to carry your cat that you can also use for yourself in your daily life. The brand was created in the spring of 2020 when I adopted my cat Racùn and had to take him to the vet. Problem: I do not see myself carrying a transport cage at arm's length and therefore decide to equip myself with a backpack to transport my animal. However, I have an additional requirement: to be able to use it in my everyday life when I am not traveling with Racùn. Not finding my happiness, I then decided to create a dual-use backpack for cats and humans.
For who ?
The Cat-Trotter has been designed for cat lovers wishing to share much more than a simple trip with their animal. Accustomed to transport boxes, you will be amazed by the comfort provided by our backpack thanks to its padded and antiperspirant shoulder straps and back. In addition, our cat carrier backpack is ideal if you are afraid that your cat will run away or get scared of the crowd. Indeed, the Cat-Trotter ensures optimal safety for your hairball, which will feel like in a reassuring cocoon.
Our core target is mainly urban women, aged 25 to 35. Passionate about their feline, they are quite capable of investing in a good carrying bag to live a unique experience with it. In addition, the fact that the bag is modular reassures them in their purchase since they will be able to use it for themselves in their daily life. It is therefore a worthwhile purchase.
For what use?
Whether it's to go to the vet, take a short or medium-term train or car trip, or even for a walk with your cat, the Cat-Trotter is perfect for traveling with your little feline. And in addition, our backpack has been designed to be able to be used when you are not transporting your animal.

It's well known that cats hate water, so we found water-repellent fabrics that resist rain. All our fabrics are also vegan, that is to say not from any animal exploitation. Animal welfare is our priority. In addition, we imagined a backpack with large breathing windows on the front and the side of the bag so that your cat does not feel suffocated like with bubble backpacks. In addition, thanks to its waterproof lining, the travel bag is very easy to wash by hand, which is a big plus if your pet does its business inside.
Where are we today ?
The Cat-Trotter is a product that is very popular with its audience. We have less than 1% of customer returns, which confirms our mission to become the reference in the transport backpack for cats and other small animals. We are gaining visibility day by day, in particular thanks to the signing of a contract with the Croquetteland company of the Carrefour group. In addition, the brand wishes to develop by offering a new range for large cats (over 6 kilos) currently being prototyped.
From now on, we want to grow by offering the Cat-Trotter to French and European distributors.
