THE 2016 VINTAGE AT CHÂTEAU D’ESTOUBLON At Château d'Estoublon, the winter was pleasant and the vines did not suffer from intense rain or too cold temperatures. Late spring was cooler than average, which delayed flowering slightly from May 23 to 28. The mistral particularly blew throughout the year, which, combined with a significant water deficit, made it possible to protect the vineyard from diseases. Veraison took place in mid-August. The hot, dry summer, with little rain, was enough for the grapes to reach full maturity. The harvest thus started in excellent sanitary conditions.
