BENEFITS Coco The Coconut Palm, Cocos nucifera, is a plant probably native to Asia, which has colonized all the shores of the intertropical zone thanks to the buoyancy of its nuts. 

It is a species of palm tree in the Palmaceae family whose fruit is the coconut. 

Coconut oil is extracted from this nut.   This oil is known for its softening and emollient properties.
