BENEFITS Laurel berries The laurel, Laurus nobilis, is a species of shrubs native to the Mediterranean basin. 

Also called bay leaf, its leaves give off an aromatic smell when crushed. 

But it is from the pulp of its fruits that Laurel Berry oil is extracted. 

This oil is recognized for its numerous properties. 

Sanitizing, it purifies the skin. 

Emollient and nourishing, it softens the skin and protects it from drying out. 

Soothing and restorative, it protects sensitive skin.   2.

USE Lather the soap under water in the palms of your hands. 

Apply in circular motions to face and body. 

Rinse off with lukewarm water. HASuse morning and evening before treatment.

PRECAUTIONS FOR USE Avoid contact with eyes. 

In case of contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly with clean water.   6. 

COLD SAPONIFICATION & BENEFITS Cold saponification is an ancestral manufacturing process that uses neither industrial base (bondillons) nor machines. 

We proceed manually starting from the basic elements: top quality organic vegetable oils (Olive and Laurel oils), water and soda. 

Once the cold saponification is completed, there is no more soda at all, but real soap, natural glycerin (around 5%) and a superfat. 

Surgras is a quantity of oil added at the end of saponification, which is not saponified and which retains all its properties. 

In this soap, the superfat is composed of first cold-pressed organic Laurel Berry oil with many benefits. 

At Codina Vieux Domaine, solid soap is manufactured and packaged after drying exclusively by hand. 

The raw materials used are noble, recognized and traced.   7. 

A SOAP THAT DOES NOT DRY SKIN Unlike industrial soaps, natural soap made by cold saponification does not dry out the skin and we will explain why! 

The glycerin produced naturally during cold saponification is preserved in the soap. 

This ingredient in its natural form is a humectant compound, that is to say it retains water, and an emollient agent, that is to say softens the skin. 

The oil added as superfat will also form a lipid film to maintain hydration and protect the skin. 

The synergy of these properties makes soap an ally for gentle, protective and restorative cleaning.
