Borage superfatted soap 100G - Cold saponified - Mature skin

Borage oil soap, cold saponified, whose ingredients are known to preserve the suppleness and elasticity of the skin, reduce the appearance of wrinkles and protect the skin from external elements.                                                                            1.

BENEFITS Borage Borage, Borago officinalis L.

is a common plant in Europe. Borage oil, extracted from its seeds, is renowned for its anti-aging and soothing properties.

It acts on the regeneration process by providing the body with a fatty acid (gamma-linolenic acid) which becomes rarer with age.                                                                            2.

SKIN TYPE & CONCERNS Applicable to all skin types, this cold saponified soap is highly recommended for mature skin.

Specially formulated to meet the needs of this skin type, this soap with organic virgin Borage oil will help nourish and hydrate them.   Mature skin can manifest as deep wrinkles, reduced skin tone and dry skin.  It can also manifest as a loss of firmness, density and elasticity of the skin.

Mature skin is also more sensitive to the negative effects of UV rays and other environmental factors.                                                                            3.

COMPOSITION & BENEFITS - Shea Butter: Rich in fatty acids such as oleic acid (Omega-9) and stearic acid, Shea butter is ideal for deeply nourishing, repairing the skin and ensuring its hydration.

It contains resinous esters which are healing and anti-inflammatory phenolic acids.

It is rich in vitamin E which plays a protective antioxidant role and thus prevents the skin from aging. -Copra Oil: Copra oil is a recognized oil in skin care due to its unique properties.

Rich in lauric acid, it adds foam and creaminess to soaps thanks to its excellent foaming power for gentle cleaning.

In addition, its stability to oxidation prevents it from going rancid easily, making it ideal for long-lasting conservation. -Borage Oil: Rich in oleic (Omega-9) and linoleic (Omega-6) acids, Borage oil is known for its anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and regenerating properties for mature skin.

The beta-sitosterol it contains gives it an emollient property which promotes hydration, softening and repairing which delays the aging of the skin.

It is used here as a superfat.

Surgras is an oil with many properties, added at the end of saponification.

Unsaponified, it thus retains all its benefits. -Geranium Bourbon essential oil: Geranium Bourbon essential oil is known to tone venous and lymphatic circulation and promote cell renewal. 69.4% of the total ingredients are of natural origin 69.5% of the total ingredients come from organic farming * 68% of the total ingredients are active ingredients *according to nouvellecosmetique.org Ingredients not derived from plants, such as water and ingredients of mineral origin, are considered natural, but cannot claim the label “from organic farming” because they are not cultivated.                                                                            4.

COLD SAPONIFICATION & BENEFITS Cold saponification is an ancestral manufacturing process that uses neither industrial base (bondillons) nor machines.

We proceed manually starting from the basic elements: top quality organic vegetable oils (Shea butter and Copra oil), water and soda.

Once the cold saponification is completed, there is no more soda at all, but real soap, natural glycerin (around 5%) and a superfat.

Surgras is a quantity of oil added at the end of saponification, which is not saponified and which retains all its properties.

In this soap, the superfat is composed of first cold-pressed organic Borage oil with many benefits.

We also add Bourbon Geranium essential oil at the end of saponification, before pouring.

At Codina Vieux Domaine, solid soap is manufactured and packaged after drying exclusively by hand.

The raw materials used are noble, recognized and traced.                                                                            7.

A SOAP THAT DOES NOT DRY SKIN Unlike industrial soaps, natural soap made by cold saponification does not dry out the skin and we will explain why!

The glycerin produced naturally during cold saponification is preserved in the soap.

This ingredient in its natural form is a humectant compound, that is to say it retains water, and an emollient agent, that is to say softens the skin.

The oil added as superfat will also form a lipid film to maintain hydration and protect the skin.

The synergy of these properties makes soap an ally for gentle, protective and restorative cleaning.
