Only natural tannins and no chemicals are used to make the final product. Resulting in very vivid, natural and bright colours. Each leash is handmade and finished with a stainless steel snap hook. Vegetable tanned leather uses natural tannins to color the leather. Such as from different plants, such as branches, leaves, bark or fruits. The colors are more intense and only become more beautiful with time. The tanning process takes about one to three months. Due to the softer process, the lifespan of vegetable tanned leather is on average higher than that of chrome-tanned leather.
