THE ART OF MOUTH-BLOWN GLASS With our Cosin concept, we are committed to seeking ancestral know-how to make our creations! Through our “Dome” vase we wish to highlight the work of mouth-blown glass. Focus on exceptional know-how: With his cane, the glass blower will detach a ball of molten glass on which he applies the color by rolling it in powders. Once tinted, it surrounds its glass ball with small grains which will give the speckled appearance of the “Dôme” vase. He then introduces air into the cane to inflate the glass ball which will be imprisoned in a specific mold created for the Dôme vase. Finally, he will cover the Dome with a second layer of glass which will allow the color to be enclosed between two transparent layers.
