Trio of organic lavandin mini-cushions - vegetable dye - old cotton - 10x10 cm

After having cut in this beautiful very soft cotton, dyed with plants, from the 1970s, there are small coupons. As it would be a shame to leave them in a drawer, they have been transformed into mini-cushions filled with organic lavender flowers. Three shades for these trios, blue, pink and ochre. The patterns for the ocher shade are made with the Japanese Shibori (folding) technique. Each mini cushion is unique. The front and back are naturally dyed cotton. Closed on the side with a linen thread, which makes it possible to change the lavender flowers and to close again. Sold by trio with linen string around. --- Fibers used for all items: hemp, flax, half-breed and old cotton found in Normandy, particularly in the Manche department (50). The mordant and the colors are obtained with plants from the garden of the workshop or from the Normandy countryside - without alum.
