"Kivu" is the common name for the coffee-growing region of eastern Congo. Grown without pesticides or chemical fertilizers. The cherries of "Kivu 4 Bord Lac" are harvested by small producers. Cultivated on the volcanic land bordering Lake "Kivu", between 1500 and 2000 meters above sea level, this Congo coffee is lively, subtle, revealing notes of cocoa, vanilla and nuts.
