The CO2 contained in the wood is bound in the charcoal. One kilogram of biochar stores three kilograms of CO2. With MAROO you can store 1.5 kg of CO2 per pack (= 50 km bus ride) in your potting soil and remove it from the atmosphere in the long term. This is how you actively help to reduce CO2.
