Diplomat Elox is based on the increasingly popular Aero model. Its trademark are the stripes of contrasting color, evenly distributed along the cap and the barrel. The name Elox comes from the word "eloxing" which means anodizing. The pattern on the black material is now made using the guillochage technique, which allows for a more complex pattern, hence the Matrix version.
