The fashion label distorted people was founded in 2008 by the twin brothers Huy and Dung Vu in the heart of Munich. What initially started with t-shirts for the party series “distorted” of the same name quickly became an insider tip in the streetwear scene. After a difficult start with a few ups and even more downs, the creative collective has managed to establish itself as one of the leading German brands when it comes to meeting the zeitgeist of urban fashion.
The core of the brand is the special relationship between the brand and its customers - the distorted people crew. It is values such as loyalty, respect, diversity, cohesion and a "never give up" mentality that distorts people with their customers
connects and welds together into a community that goes far beyond normal brand affiliation.
distorted people is known for its clear cuts, outstanding quality, unconventional designs and the catchy logo: razor blade and butcher's cleaver as crossed blades. The logo symbolizes the two poles of men's world - on the one hand the filigree and stylish barber, on the other hand the rough and somewhat tougher butcher. distorted people wants to unite these opposites and be a brand for everyone who can identify with the lifestyle.
At the end of 2020 distorted people released its first women's collection with the "DP WMN" line, which is to be permanently established. Togetherness and crew feeling are now finally completed.
