BM Signature - Single Malt Whiskey from Tuyé "Fumé au Tuyé"

Bruno Mangin pushes the local approach for this vintage by mixing spirits, wine and gastronomy: Barley grown around the village, distilled in an Armagnac still dating from 1937 Oak barrel that contained Jura wine Smoked in Tuyé (meat smokehouse): the top of the barrel was cut off and left in the top of the tuyé for 3 months with the meats and sausages from Morteau underneath The whiskey then aged in the barrel for 4 years Tasting notes "As soon as you pour this vintage into your glass, the first aroma of smoke inspires you to gastronomy (smoked charcuterie). The mouth is subjected to this singular flavor which can be confused with the peat, associated all the same with the bitters of the cereal grain. The medicinal finish encourages us to pair it with grilled meat. Profile intended for peated whiskey experts and brown wrapper cigar lovers (Bolivar double corona)."
