Created in 1988, the Vieilles Vignes cuvée from Château Lamothe-Cissac is produced exclusively in vintages where nature's bounty allows us to extract the power and concentration specific to our terroirs. The objective is to produce and mature a great wine for laying down. When young, Château Lamothe-Cissac Vieilles Vignes has a deep purple color. Great aromatic complexity with a beautiful balance between the richness of the fruit and the new wood. Aromas of cloves, spices and blond tobacco. A great wine for laying down, generous and powerful, with a lot of elegance. Needs time to develop.
