The history of the southern region of Chile goes back as far as the people MAPUCHE, known for its harmony with beauty, purity and abundance of nature. In the Mapuche language, the name of the lake “Calico” means water. clear. It is the largest source of natural water flowing from the Andes to Lake Colico. Classified as a preserved biosphere by UNESCO, the source is located in an environment unique near the town of Cunco, 700 km south of Santiago, in the Araucania region, near the Llaima volcano. The water crossed the massifs Andean for 20 years to bring this mineral and taste balance.
