Space Island L - Coffee Table

‘Space Island’ is a project by the Parisian designer Sacha Walckhoff for the Munich design label edition van Treeck. This work consists of two tables, a side table and a coffee table. They can be purchased and used together or separately. The tables are handmade in the Munich glass workshop Gustav van Treeck. The graphics on the glass plates of the tables are superimposed serigraphs, color gradients and shimmering patterns. In this way, the sophisticated tables achieve a three-dimensional effect in which shells and Siamese palms mix and create the impression of an infinite universe of planets. Sacha Walckhoff likes to combine styles by combining a pure, minimalist base with decorative and refined details - inspired by science fiction of the 80s in combination with botanical engravings of the 19th century.
