Postcard Earth Pigments - earthbound No.03

More about my earth pigment colors: The colors are made from self-collected earth or stones. When I am in the forest, for example.B. beautiful soil, I take a small amount home with me. This is ground very finely with a hand mortar and passed through a fine sieve as desired. To paint, I sometimes simply mix the resulting powder with water or add a binding agent if necessary. When painting, I deliberately use the different grain sizes that result from varying degrees of grinding and sieving intensity. This creates a natural structure in the painting.
